75. Mirror
Ivy and a guest character for the theme challenge,  's Pandora~This one took a looong while because I was constantly changing it. =_= I haven't drawn Ivy in a while, so I wanted to have her here. I realize this is pretty simple and the characters aren't mirroring their outside looks. Um...argh, I have the hardest times explaining my pictures. =_= I guess the deciding factor to have these two is that Pandora is a bit of an unknown character to me, and so is Ivy. They're both very enigmatic in their own ways. So they're mirroring that and their hidden secrets. Their looks seem kind of cold, but the butterfly represents a gentle side that I believe they both share. What a mouth full. lol I hope you don't mind me using Pandora Meggan. She's such a wonderful muse. And Happy (LATE! eep!) Birthday Meggan!  |

Amazeing portriate work as always, but the color in this one really stands out as be very "stylized." I doubt that it was a product of random experimintation. Do you plan on developeing it further? Because its certainly fitting for Ivy's/Demondroids character art. Aside from that, Great work!

I would say a bit of it was random, but all to a certain direction... like I had an idea of how I wanted it to look (grungy but balanced) it just took me a while to get that effect.
I don't think mirror will be getting anymore tweaking, I like it how it is now. However, I'll definitely use this as a strong reference for my next picture, you can count on that.

"Mirror" looks pretty finished if you ask me! The styalized color works well, I just sugest that you use it more often!

Is it just me, or did your art style (for Ivy) change a bit? Well, either way, I really like this style. Especially when coupled with the coloring and lineart; this piece has a very "animated" feel.
The grunge effect is amazing~
